About 250,000 Kwacha has been allocated for remedial works at the abandoned maternity wing at Kamwala South Health post in Lusaka.
Kabwata Member of Parliament ANDREW TAYENGWA says the maternity wing which was completed in August 2021 has not been operational.
He says part of the Constituency Development fund will be used to rectify what he terms as poor workmanship on the current structure.
Mr. Tayengwa who visited the facility has attributed the poor workmanship to lack of supervision by the Local Authority.
This is despite spending about 8,000 Kwacha on its construction.
