Over eleven thousand six hundred and fifty bags of D Compound Fertilizer have been delivered to Kalulushi on the Copperbelt under the 2023-2024 farming season.
Kalulushi District Agriculture Coordinator Dr DAVIES KABOBOTO says the Consignment is 50 percent of the23,000 allocated to
the district.
Dr KABOBOTA told ZNBC News in Kalulushi that the Government will soon deliver seed to benefit over 7,840 farmers under the farmer input support program in the area.
He urged the farmers to take advantage of the Government’s move to deliver inputs early to prepare their fields and plant early for a good yield.
Meanwhile Kalulushi district Commissioner KELLY JIBINGA who witnessed the arrival of the fertilizer urged the farmers not to sell the inputs.
