Police have formally arrested and charged LUCKY KALUBA for obtaining 370,480 Kwacha by false pretences.
Mr. KALUBA is a Director at Zambian Excellence Entrepreneurship Hub Limited .
Police Spokesperson REA HAMOONGA has confirmed this to ZNBC News in LUSAKA today.
Mr. HAMOONGA said the accused is alleged to have fraudulently obtained money from marketeers purporting to be insurance and registration fees amounting to K370,480 on pretext that he was going to give them loans.
He said Police received a complaint of obtaining money by false pretences from NATHAN PHIRI, who reported on behalf of Mwasauka Cooperative market in Garden Compound.
He said the accused has been released on police bond and will appear in court soon.
