Albert Kachinga has left his position as head coach of Kabwe based Zambia Super League side, Prison Leopards, the club has confirmed. 

Leopards took to social media to confirm the departure of the former Copper Queens boss. 

Kachinga has left together with physical trainer Joseph Musonda with immediate effect. 

“Prison Leopards Football Club would like to officially confirm that head Coach Albert Kachinga has resigned from his position as head coach with immediate effect and physical trainer Joseph Musonda has also tendered in his resignation letter effective 10th October, 2023.”

Assistant coach Collins Mulenga will take charge of the team in the interim together with goalkeeper coach Eugene Tchatchoua. 

Club Chairperson Deputy Commissioner George Sikaonga has on behalf of the club thanked Albert Kachinga and Joseph Musonda for their achievements, dedication and hard work rendered to the club during their stay.

Albert Kachinga was elevated to the post of head coach back in May 2021 taking  over from Ismael Balanga. 

Meanwhile the Former Lamontville Golden Arrows and Chipolopolo defender joined Leopards as the teams physical trainer in August of the same year.
