The MTN Super League action continued on Sunday afternoon as Kansanshi Dynamos welcomed ZESCO United while Kabwe Warriors played host to Power Dynamos.
In Kabwe, Power Dynamos were hoping to return to winning ways after suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Green Buffaloes.
However Kabwe Warriors and Numba Mumamba were too good for the defending Champions as they beat them 2-0.
Goals from Mike Mwamba Mutombo and Ocean Mushure were enough to give the Magnificent People’s Team the vital points.
The win sees Warriors move to third position on the log with 3 points as Zesco United await in the next game.
Meanwhile, Marvin Jere rescued a point for Kansanshi Dynamos as they played to a 1-1 draw with Nine time MTN Super League Champions, ZESCO United.
Kelvin Mubanga Kambapmba put Zega Mambo in the lead in the 45th minute capitalising on a pass from Collins Sikombe.
In the 63rd minute, Kansanshi drew level as Marvin Jere netted a header from a Yannick Mulenda pass.
The two teams shared the spoils meaning ZESCO United remains third and Kansanshi move up to 13th place.
