No Zambian club has been ranked in the top 20 by CAF.
Ahead of Tuesday’s CAF inter-club competitions draw, CAF have released their rankings.
The points are allocated based on the last five seasons.
With Zambian clubs struggling in both the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup in recent years, eyebrows are being raised if the Zambian Super League is the continent’s new ‘Farmers league.’
Power Dynamos and Muza will represent Zambia in the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively.
Two seasons ago, Zambia’s continental slots were downgraded from four to two following the club’s poor performance in Africa
