All is set for this year’s intercompany relay -ICR- to be held this weekend at the National Heroes Stadium .
ICR-Chairman ELIAS MPONDELA says organization has made heads way in raising funds needed to successful host the event.
MPONDELA has since urged corporate entites to come on board and sponsor the event adding that all proceeds go towards the running of Athletics in Zambia.
Speaking during the launch, MPONDELA said it is from the funds that Athletes like MUZALA SAMUKONGA get sponsorship to prepare for international engagements like the upcoming World Championships .
MPONDELA says the target is to raise K1.4m from the event.
Several Companies which include TOPSTAR have made financial donations towards the Intercompany relay.
