Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister STANLEY KAKUBO says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA’s trip to China was beneficial to the country as many deals were signed between Zambia and the Asian giant.
Mr. KAKUBO says among enhanced bilateral partnerships is the revitalization of TAZARA and Mulungushi textiles which China committed to help Zambia to revive.
Delivering a Ministerial Statement in Parliament on President HICHILEMA’s state visit to China, Mr. KAKUBO said the two countries successfully concluded discussions on Zambia’s debt restructuring.
He added that China committed to encourage more Chinese businesses to invest in Zambia’s manufacturing sector.
