The ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso says President Hakainde Hichilema is working hard for his citizens to have a decent life.

And Liswaniso says Mr Hichilema’s led government is committed to paying back stolen money for the Zambian people from the past regime through corruption crusade.

Speaking at a mobilisation meeting in Mongu to drum up support for UPND Mayoral candidate Nyambe Muyumbana,

Mr Liswaniso urged electorates to continue supporting the ruling party which has progressive economic policies.

“I know President Hakainde Hichilema as a man of the people and at all cost working and working hard to better the economy for his people and his disciples must follow suit at leadership levels. These other political parties have nothing to offer including PF who in ten years failed to develop Western Province with no beautiful infrastructure apart from the Apostolic Church. Vote development for Muyumbana on 14 th April 2022” he said.

“Enhanced Constituency Development Fund, employment of teachers and nurses, freedom and liberties among others where a Zambian citizen has a sense of belonging, moving and interacting freely with each other and as political players” he described.

And Maliti Chimwanso who is among the 12 aspiring mayoral candidate said his party is not per say campaigning but replacing the late Nyambe Matakala with Nyambe Muyumbana whom he described as a friend.

“It is about UPND to win this mayoral election and l want to thank you Zambians, our party structures at all levels for successfully voting out Patriotic Front with Edgar Lungu and ushering in a caring government on 12 th August 2021 turn in large numbers and vote for Nyambe Muyumbana on 14 th April 2022″Mr Chimwanso stated.
