President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has encouraged the church to continue providing guidance and counsel to the Government.
President HICHILEMA says the church is a cardinal partner in development and should be able to guide the Government not only in Zambia but across Africa.
He says the Government underscores the importance of national building anchored on Christian values saying this makes it easier to manage public affairs.
President HICHILEMA says among the key values that the church continues to teach is honesty, which makes the fight against corruption easier.
President HICHILEMA said this when Deeper Life Overseer Pastor WILLIAM KUMUYI, led a delegation to pay a courtesy call on him at State House.
And Pastor KUMUYI commended Zambia for its continued efforts to live up its declaration of being a Christian nation.
Pastor KUMUYI further commended President HICHILEMA for his policy direction in the education sector saying that it will help the young generation.
