President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is saddened by the death of the first UPND member of parliament for Dundumwezi constituency, EMMERRSON MUDENDA.
Mr MUDENDA died on Monday September 18th, 2023.
President HICHILEMA, who was represented by UPND National Spokesperson CORNELIUS MWEETWA at the burial ceremony in Choma, said Mr MUDENDA faithfully represented the Party at a time it was not fashionable to do so.
The President says the Party has lost a gallant soldier who needed to surviving to continue giving Counsel to the current crop of members of parliament in the ruling party.
Mr. MUDENDA, 85, was the first MP for Dundumwezi constituency from 2001 to 2006.
