The African Development Bank -AfDB says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has a clear agenda to enhance ZAMBIA’s economy.
Bank President AKINWUMI ADESINA says President HICHILEMA has on many international fora articulated his vision to take Zambia forward economically .
Dr. ADESINA has also praised President HICHILEMA for having successfully negotiated for restructuring of the country’s foreign debt.
He says the feat gives ZAMBIA a relief to focus on projects to boost the economy.
Dr. ADESINA said this in LUSAKA last night at reception to mark his visit to Zambia.
And, Acting Finance Minister FELIX MUTATI stressed that the UPND administration is determined to revamp the economy.
Mr. MUTATI also reiterated that the successful debt restructuring that ZAMBIA has clinched has given the country relief to focus on revamping the economy.
Meanwhile, Bank of Zambia Governor DENNY KALYALYA said the economy is poised to grow once investment in various sectors is harnessed.
