Commerce Minister CHIPOKA MULENGA says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has changed the mode of investment being attracted to Zambia.
Mr. MULENGA says with billions of dollars being pledged for investment, Chinese firms must have partnerships or joint ventures with Zambians.
He told ZNBC News in Jinggangshan city of China, that value addition-based investment coming into the country will result in sharing of resources and skills.
Mr. MULENGA said the government’s focus is that mining, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and other sectors have partnerships.
He said the investment commitments from the Chinese Companies in Jiangxi province, will develop local entrepreneurs and business owners.
