…..As Judge Charles Zulu throws out application for Injunction against Kalaba by UPND Surrogates.

High Court Judge Charles Zulu has thrown out an application by expelled DP members Justine Nkonge and Judith Kabemba Phiri to restrain Harry Kalaba from performing the functions of the Office of President of the Democratic Party(DP).
The Court ruled that there is no reasonable ground to grant any injunctive relief for President Harry Kalaba from holding the office.Therefore Harry Kalaba continues to hold the office of President of DP and perform the functions thereof.
This is the third legal battle lost by the duo in less than 6months.In February of 2022,the sought a Judicial review against ECZ and Precious Ntambu,arguing that Precious Ntambu was not the rightful Secretay General.
This matter was thrown out by the Courts for lacking merit.The duo first tasted their Court battle loss when their initial application for an Exparte application was thrown out and an interlocutory.
