Government says it is committed to delivering services to all people especially in the rural areas.
Permanent Secretary at Cabinet Office in charge of Special Duties PATRICK MUCHELEKA says the delivery of quality services is aimed at mitigating challenges that many face with poverty being among the highest concerns.
Mr. MUCHELEKA said this when he led a delegation of senior government officials in paying a courtesy call on the Mansa Diocese Bishop, PATRICK CHISANGA.
And Bishop CHISANGA has commended the Government for considering the church as an important stakeholder in the governance process.
Bishop CHISANGA said the involvement of the church is a clear demonstration by the Government that it does not want to leave anyone behind.
