President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has announced that government will this year recruit over 7,000 civil servants in the health and education sectors.
The President says Government plans to employ 4,500 teachers and 3,000 health workers in to enhance service delivery in the social sectors.
President HICHILEMA says Government understands the importance of the workforce in both education and health sectors as it is cardinal to improving the quality of services.
He says the UPND administration has already made progress in improving human capital in the country.
President HICHILEMA was speaking during the official opening of the 13th National Assembly.
He said his Government remains committed to preventing, controlling and treating both communicable and non-communicable diseases.
