Technology and Science Permanent Secretary, BRILLIANT HABEENZU says the government will support graduating students through different programmes of empowerment.

Dr. HABEENZU says through the Constituency Development Fund-CDF, the government intends to create jobs through development of entrepreneurial skills in people who will start up enterprises and employ others in their communities

He said this in a speech read on his behalf by David Livingstone College of Education Deputy Principal, MAYBIN KASHUMBA during the 26th graduation ceremony of the Livingstone Institute of Business and Engineering Studies-LIBES.

And, LIBES Board of Directors Chairperson, ANTHONY CHALELEMA said the institution is grateful to the new dawn government for supporting the up-skilling of youths through training in various vocation skills.

And LIBES Acting Principal, CHRISTOPHER MWALUPASA says the extension of CDF to cover training and development in various courses has helped the institution at great length to achieve its mandate.

He says the institution is receiving funding through CDF skills development and training grants..
