Government says it will continue improving the school curriculum and adapting to the changing needs of society.
Education Minister DOUGLAS SYAKALIMA the improvement will be within cultural values and traditions.
Mr. SYAKALIMA says the reintroduction of Comprehensive Sexuality Education is aimed at ensuring that children are equipped with the necessary information to make wise choices.
He was speaking when he graced the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO phase 3 consultative meeting on sexuality education.
Meanwhile, UNESCO Representative PATRICIA MACHAWIRA said sexuality education should build skills, knowledge and competence that will allow children to make wise choices.
And LILEKO WAMULUME, a pupil at Twin Palm Secondary School said the reintroduction of Comprehensive Sexuality Education has given will learners a better start than previous generations.
