Government says it is taking the anthrax outbreak as an emergency.
And, Fisheries and Livestock Minister, MAKOZO CHIKOTE has attributed the spread of Anthrax to human activities.
Speaking during Sunday Interview, Mr CHIKOTE said the Central Veterinary Research Institute has been tasked to produce more vaccines to address the challenge of the disease.
And, Mr CHIKOTE, who is also Luampa Member of Parlaiment has warned that NO one will be allowed to transport animals in and out of the districts affected with the disease.
KAZUNGULA , SINAZONGWE , LUMEZI , SIOMA , SESHEKE, and MONGU are some of the Districts that have been affected by the disease.
