Chief Government Spokesperson CORNELIUS MWEETWA says the Government is facing a huge challenge of social media propaganda.
Addressing diplomatic Staff at the Zambian Embassy in Ethiopia, Mr. MWEETWA said it was unfortunate that some Zambians were abusing social media to sway citizens from appreciating the works and economic development that have been recorded by Government
Mr. MWEETWA urged Diplomats to ignore social media propaganda because Government has restored the economy and oneness.
Mr. MWEETWA, who is also Information and Media Ministe,r said unlike in the past, all regions in Zambia were now active participants in the country’s development agenda.
And Charge D’ Affaires at the Zambian Embassy in Ethiopia TREVOR SICHOMBO thanked the Minister for visiting the Embassy and updating the diplomatic staff on developmental matters.
Mr. MWEETWA is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to attend the African Union Specialized Technical Committee Meeting-STC- on Communication and ICTS.
