Health Minister Sylvia Masebo says Government will re-equip the health facilities with appropriate equipment to ensure quality health care service delivery to the citizenry.
Ms Masebo says the procurement process will soon start as the ministry concludes the needs assessment process.
The minister said this today after an impromptu visit to UTH Children’s Hospital that government is aware of the challenges health facilities are facing.
Ms Masebo said government will also improve the drug situation in the country.
She said the Ministry will look at how best the drug debt health facilities are grappling with can be resolved because the situation has continued to compromise service delivery.
