The German Agency for International Cooperation -GIZ- has handed over equipment to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock and selected dairy cooperatives in 7 districts of Southern Province.
The donated equipment is worth 5-million Kwacha.
Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Permanent Secretary ANNA SONGOLO says the equipment was handed over through the Green Innovation Centres for Agriculture and Food Security.
Dr. SONGOLO, who graced the handover at Zimba Practical Dairy Learning Farm, noted that the support will contribute to boosting Dairy farmers’ livelihoods and strengthening their contribution to the national economy.
