The Energy Regulation Board-ERB- has maintained the prices for petrol, diesel, Jet A1 and Kerosene.
Petrol will continue selling at K29.98 ngwee per litre, diesel at K29.96 ngwee per litre, and Kerosene at K20.44 ngwee.
ERB Board Chairperson REYNOLDS BOWA says the prices have been maintained because the movements in the international oil prices and exchange rate of the kwacha against the United States dollar resulted in changes that were below the set threshold of 2.5 percent.
Mr. BOWA says the price of kerosene has been maintained on account of sufficient national stock.
Speaking during the monthly fuel pump price review media briefing, Mr. BOWA said the Board and relevant authorities are doing everything possible to adjust the review duration from monthly to at least quarterly.
