Police have opened investigations into a fire that has ravaged a school bus, the Head teacher’s office and a control room at Kamwala Secondary School in Lusaka.
Two security guards have since been picked by police to help with investigations but authorities have not ruled out foul play in the incident.
The incident happened around 02:30 hours this morning causing alarm in the community.
Speaking to journalists at the school shortly before midday, Education Permanent Secretary in charge of administration NORIANA MUNEKU said authorities are yet to ascertain whether pupils were involved.
Ms. MUNEKU said the law will deal with the culprits adding that the provision of free education to all is negatively affected by such vices.
Police spokesperson RAE HAMOONGA says police are still compiling a report on the incident.
