The FAZ Women’s Super Division will swing into action this afternoon with five rescheduled matches taking centre stage.
Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club will be looking to continue their brilliant start to the season as they welcome struggling Nkwazi Queens.
Buffaloes have won their opening four matches scoring 16 unanswered goals while Nkwazi have one win in their opening six matches.
Maweta Chilenga has notched back to back hat-tricks and will be eager to make it three in a row.
Nkwazi on the other hand will bank on the services of Copper Queens forward Enelesi Phiri to get them the goals.
Elsewhere Elite Ladies will play host to National Assembly in what is looking like an international exciting match.
Elite are coming off a 2-0 win over Green Eagles while the Parliamentarian Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw by the Royal Girls, Queens Academy.
Xiomara Mapepa will look to add to her tally this afternoon but will be up against the likes of Thabo Miselo, one of the most stable central defenders in the league, hence it will be a great afternoon of football.
At Sunset Stadium, ZANACO Ladies who have had a slow start to the season welcome the log leaders Red Arrows.
ZANACO suffered a shock 1-0 to Kamfisa Blue Eagles over the weekend to make it two defeats in just four games.
Arrows on the other hand succumbed to their first defeat of the season as they went down 1-0 to YASA Queens.
Aliness Kasoma will be hoping to return to scoring ways and help her team to another victory like she did in the opening four games.
Coach Daniel Sibanda has done well with the Airwomen but comes up against the tactical prowess of Copper Queens assistant coach Florence Mwila.
Surely, a match to watch especially for the neutrals as it promises to be exciting with a lot of flare.
Police Dove Queens were handed only their second defeat of the season over the weekend by ZISD and now welcome YASA Queens, a team high on confidence after their big win over Red Arrows.
A win for YASA Queens could see them move into the top eight while a win for Doves could see them move into the top 3.
At Independence Stadium, another big match in its own right will be on display as ZISD welcome the People’s favourite team of choice, Luyando Foundation Girls.
Evarine Susan Katongo comes up against her childhood club in what promises to be a battle of football brilliance.
Margaret Gondwe has been in fine form in front of goal and will be looking to add to her tally.
However this match will be won and lost in the midfield with Katongo partnering with Inonge Kaloustian on one side faces the amazing Luyando duo of Precious Phiri and Matilda Beauty Zulu.
ZISD are high in morale and confidence after their win away in Solwezi.
Luyando Foundation Girls also got a valuable away point at Indeni Roses and will be an important morale booster heading into this Lusaka derby.
