Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club continued their 100 percent start to the new season as they thrashed Kabwe Celtic Queens 10-0. 

Maweta Chilenga netted a hat-trick her second of the season as the defending Champions recorded the biggest win of the season yet. 

Salome Phiri contributed a brace while Agness Phiri, Diana Banda, Memory Nthala, Margaret Chisenga and Lucy Kajiya scored a goal each. 

The win takes Buffaloes to 3rd place on the log with 12 points, 3 behind log leaders Red Arrows who have played two games more. 

Meanwhile at Nkoloma Stadium, Red Arrows Women’s winning run came to an end as they succumbed to a 1-0 loss at the hands of YASA Queens. 

Thanda Onnielle Mokgabo’s lone goal was enough to hand Kalingalinga based side maximum points. 

At Independence Stadium , National Assembly and Queens Academy played to a 1-1 draw. 

On Saturday, ZANACO Ladies were handed a shock 1-0 loss by Kamfisa Blue Eagles. 

Margaret Gondwe rescued a point for Luyando Foundation Girls who played to a 1-1 draw with Indeni Roses. 

Lungowe Namasiku’s brace handed ZISD a 2-1 win away in Solwezi over Police Dove Queens. 

Trident Queens beat Nkwazi Queens 4-2, Ngosa Chabwe scoring on return to Edwin Imboela Stadium for the first time since the switch.
