The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ-will hold the first ever workshop for groundsmen in the Zambian Premier League this month.
FAZ – Club Licensing Manager IVA LENGWE says the aim of the workshop is to ensure that groundsmen in the country are empowered with the latest knowledge and techniques on pitch maintenance.
LENGWE told ZNBC News that the workshop comes at the back of a similar successful workshop that was held in Morocco by the World football governing body FIFA.
He said FAZ was present at the same workshop and wants to share the knowledge gained to uplift the standards of the playing surface in the Zambian Premier League.
The workshop will run from 19th to 21st September in Chipata Eastern Province.
