The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- has commended the Chipolopolo Boys for finishing top of Group H in their AFCON Qualifying Campaign.

This follows last night’s 1-all draw against Comoros that saw Leicester City forward PATSON DAKA score a late equalizer, cancelling out BENJALOUD YOUSSOUF who had put the host in the lead at the stroke of half time.

Speaking after last night’s game, FAZ President ANDREW KAMANGA said the Association will invest in the team’s preparation by organizing more competitive international friendly games.

KAMANGA said the FA will use the friendly games to prepare the team for the forthcoming 2026 World Cup Qualifiers which are set to begin this November.

He added that the Association will further invest in grass root football that will see all the national teams in the country remain competitive in all the tournaments.
