Technology and Science Minister FELIX MUTATI has challenged Evelyn Hone College management to incorporate E learning in its programs.

Mr. MUTATI says the college has the capacity to go beyond its current enrollment of 8 thousand through infusing digital learning.

He says doing so will raise the capacity of the learning institution to produce professionals that will deliver quality innovation and technological advancements.

Mr. MUTATI said this during the 60th Anniversary celebration of Evelyn Hone College held under the theme celebrating 60 years of quality training through Skills , Entrepreneurship and innovation for accelerated national development.

And Evelyn Hone College Acting Board Chairperson, DOREEN SHEMPELA said the college which started  with 100 students  currently has over 8 thousand students.

Speaking also during the celebration, Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce Principal CEPHAS CHABU said the institution has in its 60 years of existence contributed to a pool of professionals in various sectors of the economy.

Meanwhile, Technology and Science Permanent Secretary BRILLIANT HABEENZU said the Government remains committed to providing Quality training as it is important to the country’s development and increased productivity.
