The European Union -EU- has pledged to continue funding Zambia’s fight against climate change.
EU Chargé d’affaires PETRA GASPAROVA says the EU has now expanded it’s partnerships to local entrepreneurs and farmers by launching clean energy projects and the practice of smart agriculture.
Ms. GASPAROVA was speaking during the 21st MISA Zambia Platinum and Golden Media Awards in Lusaka last night.
And ZNBC Director Human Resource MAXWELL PHIRI says high standards of professionalism must be maintained at individual and institutional levels if the media fraternity is to achieve even greater heights.
Meanwhile, MISA Zambia Chairperson BARNABAS SIMATENDE has urged journalists to continue strengthening democracy and good governance in the country through professionalism and creativity in their work.
Various Journalists were awarded among them ZNBC’s FORTUNE MALATA who bagged two awards as Best TV Reporting Water and Sanitation and Outstanding Reporting Buy Local Electronic .
