Energy Expert JOHNSTONE CHIKWANDA says the conversion of the TAZAMA pipeline to diesel, the promotion of cleaner fuels and electrifying of rural districts are some of the achievements of government in the past two years.
Dr. CHIKWANDA says the conversation of the one thousand seven hundred pipeline from transporting co-mingled feedstock to refined low sulphur diesel is a significant milestone in the cost reduction plan for fuel.
He further says the decision by government to outlaw sulphur diesel is good because it not good for health and the environment.
In a statement to ZNBC news to analyse the New Dawn Governmentโs two years in office, Dr. CHIKWANDA said the commissioning of the 750 megawatts Kafue Gorge Lower Power Station using locally raised resources was another achievement.
