EL Urges Police To Prevent Violence In Katuba Polls

President Edgar Lungu has instructed the Zambia Police Service to ensure that there is no violence in Katuba.

The head of state said he has information that a named political party has imported cadres to cause violence in Katuba.

President Lungu said the police should not allow what happened in Sesheke to take place in Katuba.

He said the police should deal with perpetrators of violence weather they came from PF or UPND.

President Lungu said this when he addressed a political rally at Saint Peters grounds in Katuba.

The President reaffirmed his commitment to taking development to all parts of the country.

Speaking at the same function, Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube said Katuba constituency will change if people vote for the PF candidate.
