Yesterday, the 27th May 2021, I took time off the campaign trail in Eastern province and crossed the border into Malawi to pay my respect to two great servants of the Lord who lost their lives at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Brother Wambali Mkandawire, my covenant brother was a pioneer Gospel artist in the SADC and East African nations. The anointing on his life has impacted countless number of upcoming Gospel artists. I miss him deeply. Three meters from his grave lies one of Africa’s greatest pioneer Evangelist, Steven Lungu who died eight days before Brother Wambali, also from COVID-19. We had a thanks giving moment for both servants of the Lord and laid wreaths. Until we meet again at Jesus’ feet.
My delegation and I ended our Program with a courtesy call at the Zambia High Commission in Lilongwe where I signed the visitor’s book.
We are now back on the Campaign trail.
