Secretary to the Cabinet PATRICK KANGWA has disclosed that eight directors from a named Ministry have been charged over audit queries.
Mr. KANGWA says the directors were charged over missing of documents relating to audit queries.
Speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. KANGWA said Cabinet Office is not taking audit queries lightly and has so far suspended many officers.
And Acting Secretary to the Treasury DANIES CHISENDA has urged controlling officers to work on areas of weakness to avoid audit queries.
Mr. CHISENDA, who is also Ministry of Finance Permanent Secretary, said audit queries must be avoided at all cost.
