Emmanuel Banda scored in a pre-season friendly as NK Rijeka demolished Slovenian side NK Rogaska 4-0 on Saturday.
Rijeka are preparing for the new Croatian National League season.
They will also be featuring in the UEFA Europa League.
Banda joined Rijeka in January after spending three seasons at Swedish side Djurgardens.
The Zambian midfielder started his European adventure in the lower tier of Portuguese football.
Following an impressive performance at the CAF U20 African Cup of Nations in 2017, he moved to Belgium side KVO Oostende.
Sandwiched between that spell at Oostende, he also had a six month spell at French Ligue 2 side Beziers.
On the international, the 25 year old destroyed the Franck Kessie led Ivory Coast midfielder to help Zambia secure a return to the African Cup of Nations after an 8 year absence
