Local authorities in Central Province will soon start removing vendors from the streets of various towns.
And Central Province Minister CREDO NANJUWA has confirmed saying his office will engage all the local authorities and stakeholders on the matter.
Mr NANJUWA who is also Mumbwa Central Member of Parliament said sanity can only be restored once vendors move from the streets into the available markets.
He said the government will only know the number of new markets needed once vendors return to the markets.
He has since praised Local government Minister, GARY NKOMBO for successfully removing vendors from Lusaka’s Central Business District – CBD.
