The Zambia Motor Sport Association -ZMSA- says it is contemplating whether it should resume motor sport activities following a rise in Corona virus cases.
ZMSA – President Sam Ching’ambu says the association can only resume the race towards September on condition that there is a reduction in COVID-19 cases.
Ching’ambu told ZNBC Sports News in an interview that at the moment, it is not possible for the sport to resume because most drivers are skeptical.
He said access to venues under the new normal will be a challenge because the Association uses private properties to conduct it’s activities adding that owners are not willing to allow people on their property.
Ching’ambu also said sponsorship under the current situation will be a problem.
