The #Zambia Women’s National Football Team has been drawn in Group B of the #COSAFA Women’s Championship alongside 2008 finalist, Angola.
Others in the group include Comoros and Mozambique.
The #Copper Queens who are the current holders of the regional title will be aiming to defend the crown which they won last year after beating South Africa 1 nil.
Hosts and seven-time winners South Africa have been drawn in Group A with Madagascar, Malawi and Eswatini.
Meanwhile, Group C has seen the return of Zimbabwe who missed out on last year’s edition due to a #FIFA ban.
The tournament, which is set to take place between October 4th and 15th, will see Group winners automatically book a spot in the last four while the second-best finisher across all the groups will advance to the last four.
