Two Civil Servants, a Nurse and a Teacher from Chongwe District in Lusaka Province have been removed from the list of those that applied as Enumerators and Supervisors for the National Census.
Zambia Statistics Agency Interim Statistician General MULENGA MUSEPA has confirmed the development to ZNBC news today.
Mr. MUSEPA stressed that Civil Servants are not supposed to be part of those to be recruited as Enumerators and Supervisors.
He said the district recruitment committees supervised by the District Commissioners are the ones that will decide what action will be taken against the officers.
And Mr. MUSEPA has disclosed that most districts in the country have started training Enumerators.
