The Chipolopolo Boys will train on Wednesday following ‘positive talks’ with government officials over the unpaid allowances.
The team is currently in camp in Ndola preparing for Friday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Congo Brazaville.
The players dropped a ‘bomb scare’ on Tuesday after they threatened to stop training over the unpaid AFCON bonuses.
“We will continue to train as FAZ and government try to resolve the issues,” a player told the ZamFoot Crew.
“We got our $5,000 each winning bonus for the Ivory Coast. But remember the Minister promised us an extra $5,000 for qualifying for AFCON.
“We are yet to be paid the extra $5,000.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Ministry of Sports, Youth and Arts was supposed to get Treasury Authority for the ‘extra $5,000.’
