The Chipolopolo Boys have arrived in Morocco ahead of Tuesday’s FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier against Niger.
They arrived in Marrakech at around 04:10 on Sunday aboard a Chartered Ethiopian Airlines from Ndola’s Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport.
The boys from Lusaka will have a loosening session later on Sunday and then feel the turf at the Stade de Marrakesh on Monday.
Avram Grant and one of the players will also face the media on Monday.
Niger and Zambia will go head to head on a Tuesday at Stade de Marrakesh.
The West Africans suffered a narrow defeat to Tanzania on Saturday at the same venue.
The Copper Bullets go into the tie as favourites following their 4-2 home victory over Congo on Friday.
Congo and Tanzania will clash in Brazaville in the other Group E tie while Morocco will join he race in June 2024 following Eritrea’s withdraw.
