African gold medalist in the 51-kilogram flyweight category PATRICK CHINYEMBA says he needs an international camp to adequately prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
CHINYEMBA told ZNBC Sport News that he can win gold at the Olympic Games with adequate preparation.
He has also appealed to various stakeholders to consider putting the sport a priority as most boxers underperform at the African continental Olympic qualifiers due to lack of preparation and exposure.
CHINYEMBA said the boxers only spent five days in camp as opposed to their opponents who had been preparing for over a year.
