China has provided about 15 million dollars to the Zambian Government for various projects to be agreed upon by the two countries.
And Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister JACK MWIIMBU says Government would like to open up new areas of cooperation through capacity building.
Mr. MWIIMBU said this when he met Chinese Minister of Public Security WANG XIAOHONG in China.
He also stated that Zambia is still considering the proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries on mutual visa exemption of Diplomatic and Service passport holders.
And Mr. WANG said technical officers from both countries would work on the details and that China will assist in line with its capabilities.
Mr. WANG further stated that the Chinese government had donated vehicles to Zambia Police Service worth 4-million dollars which would be delivered soon.
