Following the viral clip of Minister of Information and Media Chushi Kasanda on what can be termed as a stumble on the word demise, it is unreasonable for Zambians to mock her especially related to her message of condolences to the fourth President of the republic of Zambia, Rupiah Banda.
As the bembas say, “Ulelila tabamuchema pakamwa(literally meaning one mourning should not be looked at or corrected with the mouth).
This can be applied to Ms Kasanda.
We all make mistakes and stumbles at certain words, and it is important to note that she wanted to express her solemn message to the heartbreaking death of President Rupiah Banda.
Whoever shared the clip does not mean well but aimed at discrediting the Minister.
It is an open secret that many have been criticising her of the appointment by President Hakainde Hichilema.
We need to support each other, especially the womenfolk in decision-making positions, and aim at contributing to national development.
The young female generation are looking up to female leaders to inspire them to be women of substance to participate actively in meaningful development and governance.
What are the positive qualities of Ms Kasanda and what do you want her to improve her in; remember she is not an angel but with a desire to serve the Zambian people at the centre of communication and progress for the new dawn administration
