Two pupils at Grand IQ primary School in Chilanga District are nursing wounds after a grenade they were playing with exploded.
This happened after one of the pupils a child of a Police Officer went to School with the grenade, thinking it was a toy.
Police Spokesperson RAE HAMOONGA disclosed that the injured pupils, a 5-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl who both sustained deep cuts on the legs, but have since been discharged from Chilanga Clinic.
Mr. HAMOONGA told ZNBC News that Police investigation have revealed that it was a police grenade brought at the School by a 5-year-old who told his friend he had a toy.
