President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has urged chiefs to resolve traditional wrangles outside court.
President HICHILEMA says it is not good for chiefs to take each other to court when they have the capacity to resolve differences locally.
Speaking in Chibombo District when he addressed 10 Chiefs and Chieftainess from Central Province and Senior Chief MUKUNI of Kazungula District, President HICHILEMA said it is not good to expose traditional matters in courts.
President HICHILEMA said cases such as succession wrangles can be handled by Chiefs who are senior instead of taking them to courts.
The Head of State also urged traditional leaders to get involved in developmental issues and guide government on priorities.
