(ZANIS) Chief HAMUSONDE has requested the government to construct a hospital that will reduce distances people travel to Monze Mission Hospital to access advanced health care services.
The Chief was speaking when the Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO paid a courtesy call on him at Nakasangwe Primary School in Monze District yesterday.
Chief HAMUSONDE said Bweengwa was lagging behind in a number of developmental programmes, adding that the ushering into office of the New Dawn government is the only hope for the people.
The Chief also thanked the government for initiating a number of projects such as police stations, his palace, and schools among others urging it to continue.
Meanwhile, Mrs. NALUMANGO thanked Chief HAMUSONDE for supporting the government to roll out development.
The Vice President was in Monze to check on progress on the resettlement scheme of internally displaced people affected by floods early this year.
