Chief CHITIMBWA of the Lungu people of Mpulungu district will be put to rest tomorrow, at Chitimbwa Village.

The Chief collapsed at his palace in the early hours of Thursday and died as he was being rushed to Mbala district hospital.

The late Chief CHITIMBWA, whose names were EDWARD CHITIMBWA, was a member of the House of Chiefs.

Family Spokesperson GIVEN MUNGOMBA told ZNBC News that the late Chief’s remains will be transported from Mbala District Hospital to Chitimbwa Village.

The Chief aged 50 leaves behind two wives and 14 children.

He was instrumental in the fight against climate change and protection of conservation, ecology and wildlife through the Chitimbwa Community Resources Trust, to which he was founder and patron for more than 20 years.
