Zambian side Kafue Celtic (U20) will return to South Africa for the 2023  OBC Ubungani Youth Football Invitational tournament. 

The tournament is being hosted by BSI Football Academy at their BSI Football Campus- Modderfontein Sports Complex. 

The Young Crocs have been drawn in group B alongside Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Norkem Park High School

In Group A the hosts BSI Football Academy are paired with Moroka Swallows FC, Supersport United and The University of Johannesburg.

The Zambian club will start their campaign against Norkem Park High School before taking on Orlando Pirates. Kafue Celtic will finish their group stage campaign against Mamelodi Sundowns.  

The 2023 OBC Ubungani tournament will take place between Friday 1st December and Sunday, 3rd December.

Celtic are the defending Champions of the tournament. They were crowned winners of the 2022 OBC Ubungani Cup after a 6-5 penalty shot win over Highlands Park with Frank Chileshe and Norris Kalamba named players of the tournament. 

Celtic has in the recent past produced a number of Chipolopolo stars in Kennedy Mweene, Chisamba Lungu, Patson Daka, Enock Mwepu, Albert Kangwanda among others.
