Muchinga Provincial Permanent Secretary HENRY MUKUNGULE has urged Cooperatives especially those who formed by young people to be prudent when using grants from government.
Mr. MUKUNGULE says grants given to Cooperatives are coming at a huge cost to the tax payer hence the need to be used properly.
The Permanent Secretary was speaking when he visited Pharez Youth Multipurpose Bakery in Mpika District which is producing over 80 loaves of bread per day and are selling to residents of Kamwanya.
And NORMAN CHILUBA the Chairperson for the Cooperative said his group is using the grant from government to improve lives of its members.
